Helping Hands for the Blind Diners Club.
A social event involving good food, good company and smiles.
Each month a different venue is chosen by the people attending the previous month in Basingstoke that has a great selection of food and a good atmosphere.
Many visually impaired people feel conscious about eating out in restaurants for fear that people are watching them, so this is a great way to be surrounded by people who are all going through the same experience.
Helping Hands for the Blind Diners club meets the first Thursday of the month, each month we either meet at lunch time or for the evening, and we try and change this each time.
Diners meet at the chosen venue in good time to have a chat before sitting down.
You are most welcome to bring a friend, guide or guide dog.
The cost of the event is only what you eat and drink.
In some cases, it may be possible to help with transport to these events.
If you would like to pre book your space for the Helping hands Diners club, please contact the office.
Please note: dates and venues are subject to change without notice.
